Here are some FREE & Discount events going on this weekend. Many may seem to have consistent national participation- but it is always wise to call your local location to be sure they are participating.  

michaels1-30MICHAEL’S KIDS CLUB:  Check out Michael’s store events for fun craft activities. Kids can make and take home a completed project– cost varies by project and includes supplies (usually in $2 – $7 range). Recommended for ages 3 and up. This Saturday, January 30th – kids can make their own Valentine Bloom, cost of supplies will be $2. Just go HERE and scroll down to see a schedule of events.

SUPER TARGET: If you live near a Super Target with a bakery, you can get a FREE Fresh Baked Cookie for your kids! The next time you go shopping, just ask one of the bakery employees for a FREE cookie for your child. You can go HERE to check for Super Target locations.

home-depot-kidHOME DEPOT: Mark your calendars for the next Kids Workshop at Home Depot – February 6th, kids will build and paint their own Valentines Mailbox! In addition to keeping their completed project, kids also receive a FREE certificate of achievement, a Workshop Apron, and a commemorative pin while supplies last. These FREE, hands-on workshops are designed for kids ages 5-12. Go HERE & click on Kids Workshops tab for more details.

GROUPON: Sign up and receive a daily email from Groupon with coupon offers for savings up to 90% in a city near you. Visit the Groupon Site, choose your city and enter your e-mail. DISNEY STORE:
Mark your calendars for February 6th! The Disney Store is celebrating Disney Reads Day with a special story time and activities. Plus, for each book purchased on 2/6 at the Disney store, a book will be donated. More details can be found at firstbook.org/BeInspired. Check HERE to see if your Disney store is participating in this event.

BARNES & NOBLE: Saturday, January 30th  at 11 am — You’re invited to a special storytime and activities featuring Groundhog’s Dilemma and Groundhog’s Day Off. Check your local Barnes & Noble store for participation and other events. Just go HERE and enter your zip code.

lakeshore1-30LAKESHORE LEARNING CRAFT: Saturday, January 30th from 11 am to 3 pm — Kids can make their own Peekaboo Groundhog! Join the fun every Saturday with FREE crafts for kids at all locations. LIVING SOCIAL: Another good resource for great deals and discounts in your local area is Living Social. You can head over HERE to check for deals on all kinds of things including kids’ activities, entertainment, dining out, travel, etc. Just enter your zip code or city and state.

potterybarn1-15POTTERY BARN: Kids can enjoy Story Time, every Tuesday from 11am – 11:30am– check out program details HERE. Members will receive a special gift after attending five sessions. Watch for special story time events as well!
