Worked perfectly fine on 2/16. Bought 3 kotex Tampons and got a $5 gift card, today no gift card was trigged. I thought I had until 2/20 for this deal. Strange!
This was in Houston, Texas area Target.

Kerry, yes the store had the signs up and the sign said buy three kotex, motrin and advil … and the store assistant manager said I had to buy 3 kotex, 3 motrin and 3 advil. so at that store i had them remove the items from my cart since she wanted me to buy 3 of each so 9 items to get the GC at another store where the GC did not trigger, i said the same thing and the manager told the cashier to go ahead and just give me the GC.
I’m not seeing this coupon, is it already gone?
I have the same problem every week, something always happens and it doesn’t trigger the gift card, it drives me nuts! Even if i tell them i saw the sign, i take a picture, they still won’t fo it, every once in a while a supervisor will authorize it. The last time the cashier asked her if it would flag her, i guess when they do things they are not supposed the computer flags them, and that’s why they won’t do it.
I tried to do the Kotex one, bought 3 boxes and it didn’t prompt a gift card, I returned it right there.
And I can’t find the coupon, might be gone 🙁
I was so excited to see you post this deal. However, the signs were not up at my store either and it did not trigger a gift card. The cashier was nice enough to discount my total by $5.00. After I paid, I remembered that I forgot my cartwheel. Went to customer service. They lady said I had to return everything and re-buy to apply cartwheel. Which was fine, but when I went to pay, the 20% cartwheel didn’t apply. The lady felt that it was for the black boxes only. Which I disagree, but she manually discounted the 20% even though she felt I got the wrong ones. I was glad I was able to get 3, but it was definitely an ordeal. LOL!
The GC did not trigger for me either, and the cartwheel is only working on the black boxes.
Hi Bess- just curious if your store had singage? I am not sure why it did not trigger for you – but if you have singage you could point out to them that it does not say that. You should be able to mix and match how you wish as long as you buy 3 qualifying items and maybe showing him your signage would help them hnor your gift card. hth!
I went to target to purchase the Kotex U as was posted and it did not trigger a gift card, the manager said I had to buy tahe 3 kotex AND advil etc. to get the gift card. Just thought I would let you know. Thanks for the good job you do in posting the deals.
