Here are some FREE & Discount events going on this weekend. Many may seem to have consistent national participation- but it is always wise to call your local location to be sure they are participating.

toysrus2-12TOYS ‘R US: Saturday, February 20th from 12 to 2pm — Toys ‘R Us will be hosting a special LEGO Building Event! Kids, ages 6 & up, can build and take home an exclusive FREE LEGO Shield Dock. Parental supervision is required at all times. Giveaways available while supplies last, limit one per child. GROUPON: Sign up and receive a daily email from Groupon with coupon offers for savings up to 90% in a city near you. Visit the Groupon Site, choose your city and enter your e-mail. Each day they feature something cool to do in your city at an unbeatable price. To learn more about how Groupon works, go HERE, and see if there is a city close enough to you to take advantage of some of these great deals.

BARNES & NOBLE:
 Saturday, February 20th at 11 am — You’re invited to a special storytime and activities featuring The Classic Tales of Peter Rabbit: And Other Cherished Stories. Check your local Barnes & Noble store for participation and other events. Just go HERE and enter your zip code.

POTTERY BARN: Kids can enjoy Story Time, every Tuesday from 11am – 11:30am– check out program details HERE. Members will receive a special gift after attending five sessions. Watch for special story time events as well!

lakeshore2-19LAKESHORE LEARNING CRAFT: Saturday, February 20th from 11 am to 3 pm — Kids can make their own Chore Chart Door Hanger. Join the fun every Saturday with FREE crafts for kids at all locations. LIVING SOCIAL: Another good resource for great deals and discounts in your local area is Living Social. You can head over HERE to check for deals on all kinds of things including kids’ activities, entertainment, dining out, travel, etc. Just enter your zip code or city and state.

lowes2-19LOWE’S BUILD AND GROW: Mark your calendars for Saturday, February 27th at 10 am, the next Lowe’s Build and Grow Clinc where kids will get to build their own Monster Jam Dragon car! All Lowe’s Build & Grow Clinics give kids a chance to build a wooden project and receive a free apron, goggles, patch, and more! You can go HERE for more details.

SUPER TARGET: If you live near a Super Target with a bakery, you can get a FREE Fresh Baked Cookie for your kids! The next time you go shopping, just ask one of the bakery employees for a FREE cookie for your child. You can go HERE to check for Super Target locations.

michaelsMICHAEL’S KIDS CLUB:  Check out Michael’s store events for fun craft activities. Kids can make and take home a completed project– cost varies by project and includes supplies (usually in $2 – $7 range). Kids Club is recommended for ages 3 and up. This Saturday, February 20th – kids can make their own Monogram Clothespin Frame designed to hold photos, notes, drawings, etc.! Just go HERE and scroll down to see a schedule of events.

Plus, if you’re already planning what your little ones will do during Spring Break, check out Michael’s Spring Break Edition of Kids Club! There will be 30 minute craft sessions Monday thru Friday from 10 am to noon for kids ages 3 & up. Parent or guardian must remain on the premises. Cost of supplies is $2 per project. Schedules vary by school district so see your local store calendar for details.

FREE & DISCOUNT ADMISSIONS COURTESY OF TARGET: Target sponsors several community events including FREE and discount admissions to arts and cultural events & institutions nationwide. Many of these events are free and on a monthly schedule. Just go HERE and scroll down to where you can choose your closest city to find FREE and reduced-price Target events near you.
