Here are some FREE & Discount events going on this weekend. Many may seem to have consistent national participation- but it is always wise to call your local location to be sure they are participating.
LAKESHORE LEARNING CRAFT: Saturday, March 12th from 11 am to 3 pm — Kids can make their own colorful Carp Wind Sock! Join the fun every Saturday with FREE crafts for kids at all locations. GROUPON: Sign up and receive a daily email from Groupon with coupon offers for savings up to 90% in a city near you. Visit the Groupon Site, choose your city and enter your e-mail. Each day they feature something cool to do in your city at an unbeatable price. BASSPRO SHOPS: Check out BassPro Shops’ special Dog Days Family Event, being held this weekend, March 11th & 12th! Families are invited to bring their dog(s) and get a FREE 4×6 photo and certificate with your dog’s paw print! Plus, there will be giveaways, FREE seminars, prizes, and more! For complete schedule, check your store HERE. Note: Pets need to be up-to-date on all vaccines, pet- and child-friendly, and on a close leash at all times. Pet owners are responsible for their dog’s behavior. This event is available in all store locations except Islamorada.
BARNES & NOBLE: Saturday, March 12th at 11 am — You’re invited to a special storytime and activities event featuring, Too Many Carrots! Check your local Barnes & Noble store for participation and details. Plus, mark your calendars for a special Batman v Superman Day event coming up on Saturday, March 19th. MICHAEL’S KIDS CLUB: Check out Michael’s store events for fun craft activities. Kids can make and take home a completed project– cost varies by project and includes supplies (usually in $2 – $7 range). Kids Club is recommended for ages 3 and up. This Saturday, March 12th, from 10 am to 12 pm, kids can make their own Bunny Frame for $2! Then, from 12 to 1 pm, tweens can bring their Flash Charms Collection to Michael’s Flash Charm Swap! Plus, if you’re already planning what your little ones will do during Spring Break, check out Michael’s Spring Break Edition of Kids Club! There will be 30 minute craft sessions Monday thru Friday from 10 am to noon for kids ages 3 & up. Parent or guardian must remain on the premises. Cost of supplies is $2 per project. Schedules vary by school district so see your local store calendar for details.
LOWE’S BUILD AND GROW: Saturday, March 12th at 10 am — Kids can build their own Monster Jam, featuring Blue Thunder! All Lowe’s Build & Grow Clinics give kids a chance to build a wooden project and receive a free apron, goggles, patch, and more! You can go HERE for more details.
SUPER TARGET: If you live near a Super Target with a bakery, you can get a FREE Fresh Baked Cookie for your kids! The next time you go shopping, just ask one of the bakery employees for a FREE cookie for your child. You can go HERE to check for Super Target locations.
