Here are some FREE & Discount events going on this weekend. Many may seem to have consistent national participation- but it is always wise to call your local location to be sure they are participating.
NATIONAL PARKS: In celebration of Earth Day, all entrance fees at National Parks and Monuments across the country are waived through Sunday, April 24 for National Park Week. You can go HERE to find a park near you and get more details.
POTTERY BARN: Kids can enjoy Story Time, every Tuesday from 11am – 11:30am– check out program details HERE. Members will receive a special gift after attending five sessions. Watch for special story time events as well!

MICHAEL’S KIDS CLUB: Kids can make and take home a completed project– cost varies by project and includes supplies (usually in $2 – $7 range). Recommended for ages 3 and up. This Saturday, April 23rd – kids can make their own Tissue Paper Tie-Dye Art, cost of supplies will be $2.
Plus, this Friday, April 22nd from 6 to 8 pm, families can Tie-Dye shirts together and the supplies are free, all you have to do is buy the shirts. Just go HERE and scroll down for more details and to see a schedule of events.
LOWE’S BUILD AND GROW: Mark your calendars and register early for the next workshop! Thursday, May 5th at 10 am — Kids can build their own chalkboard planter! All Lowe’s Build & Grow Clinics give kids a chance to build a wooden project and receive a free apron, goggles, patch, and more! You can go HERE for more details.
SUPER TARGET: If you live near a Super Target with a bakery, you can get a FREE Fresh Baked Cookie or opt for a healthier option and choose a FREE piece of Fruit for your kids! The next time you go shopping, just ask one of the bakery employees for a FREE cookie for your child. You can go HERE to check for Super Target locations.
LAKESHORE LEARNING CRAFT: Saturday, April 23rd from 11 am to 3 pm — Kids can make their own miniature greenhouse and then watch a real sunflower take root! DISNEY STORE: Captain America In-Store Event — Saturday, April 23rd at 10:30 & 11:30 am, & 12:30 pm, and on Sunday, April 24th at 12:30, 1:30 & 2:30 pm. Dress up as your favorite Marvel Super Hero and come learn how to draw Captain America’s shield. For ages 3 & up. No lineups prior to 30 minutes before event begins. Event only at select locations.
