Here are some FREE & Discount events going on this weekend. Many may seem to have consistent national participation- but it is always wise to call your local location to be sure they are participating.

michaels5-12MICHAEL’S KIDS CLUB:  Kids can make and take home a completed project– cost varies by project and includes supplies (usually in $2 – $7 range). Recommended for ages 3 and up. This Saturday, May 14th from 10 am – 12 noon, kids can make their own Dreamcatcher. Cost of supplies: $2.  Just go HERE and scroll down for more details to see a schedule of events.

GROUPON: Sign up and receive a daily email fro Groupon with coupon offers for savings up to 90% in a city near you. Visit the Groupon Site, choose your city and enter your e-mail. Each day they feature something cool to do in your city at an unbeatable price. To learn more about how Groupon works, go HERE, and see if there is a city close enough to you to take advantage of some of these great deals.

lakeshore5-12LAKESHORE LEARNING CRAFT: Saturday, May 14th from 11 am to 3 pm — Kids can make their own pony puppet! Join the fun every Saturday with FREE crafts for kids at all locations. For a complete calendar of events, check out their Facebook page HERE and click on the Events Tab if you don’t see them.

LIVING SOCIAL: Another good resource for great deals and discounts in your local area is Living Social. You can head over HERE to check for deals on all kinds of things including kids’ activities, entertainment, dining out, travel, etc. Just enter your zip code or city and state.

BARNES & NOBLE: 
Saturday, May 14th at 11 am — You’re invited to a special story time and activities featuring 2 stories, Mom School and How to Babysit a Grandma! Check your local Barnes & Noble store for participation and other events. Just go HERE and enter your zip code.

super-targetSUPER TARGET: If you live near a Super Target with a bakery, you can get a FREE Fresh Baked Cookie or opt for a healthier option and choose a FREE piece of Fruit for your kids! The next time you go shopping, just ask one of the bakery employees for a FREE cookie for your child. You can go HERE to check for Super Target locations.

NATIONAL PARKS: If you’re a fourth grader, you and your family can receive an “Every Kind in a Park” pass that will give you free access to hundreds of parks, lands, and waters for an entire year! Just go HERE for more details.

HomeDepot-Kids5-12HOME DEPOT: Coming Soon! Saturday June 4th from 9 am – 12 pm – Kids can build their own Father’s Day Trophy Smart Phone Holder. Kids get to keep their craft, receive a certificate of achievement, a workshop apron and a commemorative pin while supplies last. You can check out the details HERE.

POTTERY BARN: Kids can enjoy Story Time, every Tuesday from 11am – 11:30am– check out program details HERE. Members will receive a special gift after attending five sessions. Watch for special story time events as well!
