I gave Meijer a tongue-lashing over this sort of thing a month or two ago (same deal, sale/offer with no rainchecks)… and likened it to bait and switch. I consider Meijer and Target to be the two biggest offenders in this space with this sort of thing and I would seriously take your complaint to your state’s Attorney General’s office… it is getting ridiculous… 🙁
Target is so frustrating with their Gift Card deals. More often than not they have no stock on hand and rain checks are not offered. No stores in a large radius around me have had the Clear Eye Pure Relief PSA $9.99 in stock since the sale began, and none of the stores can tell me if any will be coming in before the end of the sale. This is not the first time this has happened, and my comments on it to corporate have not improved the situation…..Grrrrr!
