Here are some FREE & Discount events going on this weekend. Many may seem to have consistent national participation- but it is always wise to call your local location to be sure they are participating. 

BOA-bannerBANK OF AMERICA:  If you have a Bank of America Debit Card- then check out the list of qualifying museums that you have FREE admission to the first weekend of every month! You can go HERE to find out more about the Museums on Us Program and view a list of participating museums in your area.

HOME DEPOT: Saturday September 3rd from 9 am – 12 pm – Kids can build their own mini whiteboard for homework and reminders! Kids get to keep their craft, receive a certificate of achievement, a workshop apron and a commemorative pin while supplies last. You can check out the details HERE.

DISNEY STORE: This is the last weekend for Summer Play Days at the Disney Store. In-store events include the Art of Drawing, Showtime, Story Time and Trivia. Note: For ages 3 & up at select locations only. You can go HERE for more details.

MICHAEL’S KIDS CLUB: 
 Good news! Kids Club is FREE this Saturday, 9/3! Kids can make their own Fall Paper Lantern. Recommended for ages 3 and up. Just go HERE and scroll down to see a schedule of projects for this month.

junior-rangerNATIONAL PARKS – JUNIOR RANGER PROGRAM: The National Park Service Junior Ranger program takes place in almost all parks and is appropriate for kids, ages 5 to 13, but people of all ages can participate. Junior Rangers are given a series of activities to complete during a park visit, share their answers with a park ranger, and receive an official Junior Ranger patch and certificate. Plus, in honor of their 100th birthday, you can download their Centennial Junior Ranger Activity Book for FREE! For more details, check it out HERE. And, did you know that Active Duty Military members and their families can get FREE admission to National Parks year-round? Military ID is required. For more details, you can go HERE.

CHUCK E. CHEESE: If you’re headed to Chuck E. Cheese this summer, check out their website first for coupons and other offers. They also have some cool rewards calendars on their website that you can download that kids can complete to earn FREE tokens! Plus, kids 2 & under eat FREE with the purchase of an adult buffet at participating locations. Three is a limit of one FREE kid buffet per purchase. You can go HERE for more details and to find a location near you.

lakeshore9-2LAKESHORE LEARNING CRAFT: Saturday, 8/27 from 11 am to 3 pm — This week, kids can make their own big blue sky binoculars! Join the fun every Saturday with FREE crafts for kids at all locations. For a complete calendar of events, check out their website HERE.

POTTERY BARN: Kids can enjoy Story Time, every Tuesday from 11am – 11:30am– check out program details HERE. Members will receive a special gift after attending five sessions. Watch for special story time events as well!

LIVING SOCIAL: Another good resource for great deals and discounts in your local area is Living Social. You can head over HERE to check for deals on all kinds of things including kids’ activities, dining out, entertainment, local activities, travel, etc. Just enter your zip code or city and state.

Saturday, September 3rd at 11 am – Check out your local Barnes & Noble store this weekend for kids’ story time & activities, featuring If You Ever Want to Bring an Alligator to School, Don’tJust go HERE and enter your zip code for more information.

SUPER TARGET: If you live near a Super Target with a bakery, you can get a FREE Fresh Baked Cookie or opt for a healthier option and choose a FREE piece of Fruit for your kids! The next time you go shopping, just ask one of the bakery employees for a FREE cookie for your child. You can go HERE to check for Super Target locations.
