Hi Kathy, I would call corporate and tell them what happened. You did not commit coupon fraud and that manager needs to be taught the difference between “per purchase” and “per transaction”. Corporate was very helpful when I contacted them about my last coupon problem. They made sure I was given my refund and sent me a gift card for my trouble. Sorry you had a bad experience!
I have to ask everyone, how would you deal with this situation?
I had three bogo coupons (the herbal essence ones). I bought 6 bottles and gave them 3 coupons. The coupons states per purchase and not per transaction. The cashier forgot to scan my third coupon and asked me to go to customer service. Manager would not issue me a refund, accused me of using coupon fraud for using multiple coupons in one transaction.
