Here are some FREE & Discount events going on this weekend. Many may seem to have consistent national participation- but it is always wise to call your local location to be sure they are participating.  

bassproBASS PRO SHOPS: The Great Pumpkin Celebration starts this Monday, 10/24 thru 10/28 and will includes lots of fun! There will be FREE crafts, a costume parade, trick-or-treating, face painting and lots more! For a complete schedule, check out your local Bass Pro shop HERE. SUPER TARGET: If you live near a Super Target with a bakery, you can get a FREE Fresh Baked Cookie or opt for a healthier choice and get a FREE piece of Fruit for your kids! disneystore10-7DISNEY STORE: Saturday, 10/22 — Kids ages 3 & up are invited to attend the Disney Store’s Halloween Dress Rehearsal* and come dressed as their favorite character! There will be games, crafts, a costume parade, free give-aways and more! *Check your local store for participation – Halloween Dress Rehearsal event will be held at select locations. No lineups prior to 30 minutes before event begins. You can go HERE for more details.

GROUPON: Sign up and receive a daily email from Groupon with coupon offers for savings up to 90% in a city near you. Just visit the Groupon site, choose your city and then enter your e-mail. Each day they feature something cool to do in your city at an unbeatable price. To learn more about how Groupon works, go HERE, and see if there is a city close enough to you to take advantage of some of these great deals.

MICHAEL’S KIDS CLUB:
 Kids can make and take home a completed project– cost varies by project and includes supplies (usually in $2 – $7 range). Recommended for ages 3 and up. This Saturday, 10/22 from 10 am – 12 pm, kids can make their own ghosts out of yarn! Cost of supplies is $2. Plus, mark your calendars for their big Monster Bash, coming soon! Saturday, 10/29 from 10 am to 3 pm, kids will get to make their own treat bag (FREE Kids Club Craft) and then march in a Trick-or-Treat Parade (to be held every 30 minutes). There will also be a fun Monster t-shirt family craft activity! home-depotHOME DEPOT: Mark your calendars for the next Kids Workshop and register early to reserve your spot! Saturday, 11/5, kids can build their own Veterans Day Toy Helicopter! Kids get to keep their craft, receive a certificate of achievement, a workshop apron and a commemorative pin while supplies last. LIVING SOCIAL: Another good resource for great deals and discounts in your local area is Living Social. You can head over HERE to check for deals on all kinds of things including kids’ activities, dining out, entertainment, local activities, travel, etc. Just enter your zip code or city and state.

Stop in to your local Chuck E. Cheese in costume during the month of October and you’ll get 50 FREE tickets! POTTERY BARN: Kids can enjoy Story Time, every Tuesday from 11am – 11:30am– check out program details HERE. Members will receive a special gift after attending five sessions. Watch for special story time events as well!

lakeshoreLAKESHORE LEARNING CRAFT: Saturday, 10/22 from 11 am to 3 pm — This week, kids can make their own Rockin’ Rainstick! Join the fun every Saturday with FREE crafts for kids at all locations. For a complete calendar of events, check out their website HERE.

NATIONAL PARKS – JUNIOR RANGER PROGRAM: The National Park Service Junior Ranger program takes place in almost all parks and is appropriate for kids, ages 5 to 13, but people of all ages can participate. Junior Rangers are given a series of activities to complete during a park visit, share their answers with a park ranger, and receive an official Junior Ranger patch and certificate. Plus, in honor of their 100th birthday, you can download their Centennial Junior Ranger Activity Book for FREE! For more details, check it out HERE. TOYS ‘R’ US:
 Saturday, 10/22 from 12 to 2 pm – Check out Toys R’ Us’ Bricktober Event, with LEGO Play & Build events going on all month! Just go HERE for more details and to check your store for participation in this event.
