So now that I’ve gone to all the trouble printing coupons, went to Target to buy Rimmel, it’s no longer in my Ibotta!
Definitely not true. I’ve found stores will try to do that, when they’ve have multiple problems with bad coupons. They find it easier to try doing that, rather than properly train their cashiers. Get the name of the manager who is claiming this is the policy and get the information to guest relations; they will shut that nonsense down pretty quickly; in past experiences with the same situation, they don’t seem to like stores giving out bogus policies.
Anyway, be forewarned, none of these coupons scanned through for me; the cashier ended up just manually entering them, which could have been pretty messy considering I did the deal for the $12+ moneymaker with 12 coupons. Fortunately I had a cashier who knew what they were doing.

If you are having trouble – my suggestion would be to call guest relations (800) 440-0680 and be sure that they are aware that your local Target team leader is telling you that. While stores do have the right to refuse coupons – it is meant to be on an individual basis if a coupon looks funny or suspicious or doe not scan – not a blanket policy refusing all printable coupons for all stores. If there is any kind of communication gap with the rep you are trying to communicate this matter too – I would have them transfer you to a state-side rep. They should be made aware that your store is telling you this – as it is not true. hth
My Taget has told me that they are no longer accepting any printed coupons. Is this true for anyone else? The manager at the Target on Route 59 in Naperville, IL told me it was a new policy at all Targets.
