While the preview for the P&G showed a .20/1, some of you like me, may have found a .50/1 Bounce Dryer Sheets instead. Some stores carry a smaller size box of Bounce that contains 45 Dryer sheets. These are not trial size boxes- they will be found in the regular laundry aisle if your store has them. The Target Bounce coupon from 6-27 is still valid until 8/30 which makes for a nice deal if you have both Qs to stack:
Bounce 45 ct. Dryer Sheets $1.94 (Regular Price) -.75/1 Bounce or Downy Fabric Softener 6-27-10 Target Regional Insert x8/30 -.50/1; .20/1 Bounce 8-29-10 P&G x9/30 = as low as .69 cents after a stack thru 8/30 only when the TQ expires
There will be a nice big coupon in the P&G insert tomorrow for $5/2 Nice ‘n Easy Root Touch Up. Some of you will have a Target coupon to stack it with as well, but the TQ will expire on 8/30, so you only have Sunday 8/29 & Monday 8/30 to get a great deal on this product. Regular price may vary by region, but it sells for $5.49 – $5.89 regular price at my stores.
Clairol Nice n’ Easy Root Touch Up $5.49 – $5.89 (Regular Price) -$5/2 Clairol Hair Colors 6-27-10 Target Regional Insert x8/30 -$5/2 Nice ‘n Easy Root Touch 8-29-10 PG x9/30 Buy 2, Use a $5/2 Target Q and a $5/2 Manuf. Q to pay .49 – .89 cents each box
Hey all- I caught a couple comments and e-mails of some things I wanted to tell you about. Remember- clearance can vary greatly from store to store, but it can’t hurt to look for the same, as these are nice deals if you can find the same.

COLGATE TOOTHPASTE WITH TARGET COUPONS
Remember my post on the Colgate Bonus Packs that came with $10 in Target Coupons? Well Laura in Northern California found them on clearance for $1.48. The coupons inside them don’t expire until 12/31, so it may be a good deal, depending on what coupons you have to buy your first one with. Inside you will find a $1/1 Colgate Total Target coupon, which you can use with another MQ to buy another even cheaper. There’s a list of the coupons included and a picture of what the bonus packs look like on my previous post. -Thanks Laura!
There is a new B1G1 Kikkoman printable coupon available, and if you haven’t yet, you still have a few days left to take advantage of a rebate they have going on too. The coupon is for B1G1 on any product, but there is also a $1/1 Kikkoman Teriyaki still available. My store sells the 10 oz bottle of Kikkoman Teriyaki Sauce for $1.42. (Regular prices may vary by region). If your store will allow the use of a $ Off coupon when using a B1G1, here’s a deal idea for you:

For the mail in offer- Purchases must be made between July 1 and August 31, 2010. Offer is available while supplies last. But if they cannot fulfill your free gift at that point- they will send you a FREE product coupon instead.

INTERESTED IN BEING FEATURED ON THE BRAGGING SPOT? I get several e-mails from bloggers and readers about their trips every week and inquiring about being featured on the bragging spot. If you are interested in being featured, you will need to e-mail me by Wednesday afternoon. If you are a reader, I will need a picture and the details of your shop. If you are a blogger, I will need an e-mail containing a link to a recently published post featuring your shopping trip. The post should contain a picture of your trip and 90% of the time I will choose someone who documents a current week’s trip. Bloggers who detail their trips in their posts (what coupons they used, what they spent etc,) are more likely to be chosen. Please keep in mind I only choose one blogger or reader each week, so feel free to submit to me weekly, and if you are not chosen, please use the linky found below to share your trip with others. 🙂

Meredith found Clorox Stain Fighter & Color Booster 32 ct on clearance for 50% off at her store. It was originally $9.47 and now marked down to $4.74. There is a $1/1 Clorox 2 Stain Fighter & Color Booster in the 08-22-10 SS. Unfortunately the only printable I can find is for the liquid, but an even better deal will be if you can find the $2/1 Manufacturer coupon peelies like the one shown in the picture that Meredith found attached to the bag. If you find the clearance & Peelie, it will be as low as $2.74 for a 32 ct Bag. -Thanks Meredith!

GLAD TRASH BAGS There has been quite a bit of clearance on Trash Bags it seems lately, including Hefty & Up&Up Brand, and now Glad seems to be the latest brand to join the trend. ALthough the printable Target coupon is now gone and expired, look for peelies on boxes. There are several different coupon values including $1/1, and I saw several boxes at my store on an endcap marked 15% Off. Something to watch for a further drop.
AIR FRESHENERS I feel like the clearance on Air Fresheners is never ending. Which is nice, thanks to lots of coupon coupons on Febreze, Glade & Air Wick. Be sure to look in both the regular aisles and on the endcaps. On Sunday I saw a whole new round of Febreze Home Collection on clearance, and straight to 50% off. *If you are looking for Air Freshener coupons for items mentioned, check the Coupon Database to see where you can find it or if there is a link to a printable available.

Welcome to the Knorr Report- my little weekly report of my adventures at Target. 😉 Well I don’t know about the rest of you, but it is the end of super cheap Kraft Salad Dressing at my store. The jumped from $1.52 at my store up to $2.04. Good thing I am stocked up and dressing has fairly long shelf life, as Austin loves his carrots and “Branch” dressing. But the $1/1 expired on 8/22 anyway, so it was a nice run while it lasted. 😉
NOTES ON THE SCHICK SALE (PRICES VALID THRU 8/28) Aside from the Razors advertised, here’s what I found included in the Schick sale along with coupon matchups that make for nice or decent deals. There were other Quattro, Titanium etc Razors & Cartridges included, but these were the best deals out of what I saw. (Sale prices may vary by region)
Schick Hydro 3 Razor $6.29 -$5/1 Schick Hydro Razor 8-8-10 SS x9/30 = $1.29 after coupon
Schick Intuition Plus $6.29 -$2/1 Schick Intuition Plus or Quattro for Women Razor or Refill, any – 07-18-10 SS

NEWLY LOWERED PRICES FOUND The following are prices found newly lowered at my store. They are likely to be very hit or miss for others, but like to mention them in case you have interest & want to look to see if your store has them lowered too.

Stove Top Stuffing down from $1.69 to $1.42 -$1/2 Stove Top Manufacturer’s Coupon on Target Site HERE = as low as .92 cents each after coupon wyb 2
I Can’t Believe It’s Not Butter 15 oz Tub lowered from $2.14 to $1.99 .75/2 I Can’t Believe It’s Not Butter (Quarters, SPray or Tubs) Target Coupon PRINT x9/30 = as low as $1.62 each after coupon wyb 2 (wish there was an MQ for this!)
GLADE CLEARANCE – NOTE ON THE $2/2 FRAGRANCE COLLECTION COUPON I mentioned yesterday that I had spotted the 2 oz Soy Candles 50% Off down to $1.48 at my store and I know lots of you are finding the same. You need to watch the register when you use either of the following coupons- -$2/2 Glade Fragrance Collection Soy Candle, 2 oz 8-22-10 SS x10/2 -$2/2 Glade Fragrance Collection Products
Again- the register is seeing the coupon as a $2/1 NOT a $2/2 like it should be. Therefore, when it is scanned it is only taking off $1.48 (or automatically adjusting down what it thinks is a coupon off 1 product). something to watch for, so you can immediately have it corrected.
“WE CAN’T GIVE IT TO YOU FOR FREE”
Yesterday I got an e-mail from a reader who tried to buy the Five Star Folders last week that were .50 cents each with a $1/2 coupon. We all know the register glitches going on and most cashiers/managers/stores etc can see this coupon is clearly a $1/2 and correct it when it scans at .50 cents. Unfortunately, some of you get inexperienced employees, or those who do not understand why it is scanning at .50 cents and feel that the cash register is a god of some sort and must be right, and therefore drama ensues.
Well in the e-mail I got yesterday, she was told one of my favorite lines upon the coupon scanning incorrectly… “It’s because we can’t give it to you for free”. In response to that- I am in complete and utter 100% agreement with Target. Now you might be saying.. WHAT DID YOU JUST SAY KERRY!!!???? But you heard me right. They shouldn’t GIVE you anything for free. But they absolutely can let you BUY them with a coupon, and if it so happens to be free WITH the coupon, you haven’t been given anything, you paid for your purchases, you just did so with a coupon that happened to make it free.
Fortunately this has never happened to me at Target, but I do encounter it at other stores occassionally. I calmly explain that they aren’t giving me anything. Giving me something for free means I walk in the store, you hand me something and I walk out. But that is not the case, I am not TAKING anything. I am BUYING something, if it is free after a legitimate coupon then so be it. The store is reimbursed the purchase price and everyone’s given what’s due. Or that’s the way it should be anyway. If you have this situation at your store, try and calmly explain the difference. If they don’t budge or still don’t understand, give corporate a call and let them know the trouble you are having.
That’s it for now folks, I hope everyone is having a good week, sans drama! 😉
