Here are some FREE & Discount events going on this weekend. Many may seem to have consistent national participation- but it is always wise to call your local location to be sure they are participating…  

lowes-firetruckLOWE’S BUILD & GROW: Coming Soon! Saturday, September 27th at 10 am. Kids can build their own cool Fire Truck just in time for Fire Safety Month coming up in October. Saturday, September 13th at 10 am – Kids can build their own Binoculars. All Build & Grow Clinics give kids a chance to build a wooden project and receive a free apron, goggles, patch, and more! MICHAEL’S: Check out Michael’s Kids Club for fun kids’ events! For only $2 per child, you can reserve a spot for a creative session for your child to enjoy a craft while you shop! Sessions are held every half hour between 10 am and 11:30 am. Purchase of supplies maybe required. This Saturday, September 6th, kids can make a School Spirit Shaker. Go HERE for more details and to register.

FREE Customized Walt Disney World Park Maps

Right now you can create FREE customized Walt Disney World maps of all 4 theme parks? You can get all 4 maps delivered to your door completely FREE or you can choose to print them. It’s great for planning a Disney trip or to create a keepsake for a past trip. 🙂 Just click on the banner to get started and both the mail and print options of your finsihed maps are completely FREE, but you will need do have to have a Disney account. Once you click on the banner- just sign in if you already have an account or create a new Disney account.

They are super easy to customize- you just view a map of each park to see all the attractions, and then you go through the list and highlight your favorite ones on the map. When I did this previously – I chose to create & then order maps of all 4 parks by mail as a keepsake but the printable feature is a great planning tool to easily spot the rides & shows you want to be sure and visit while you are at each park.

You can print out maps as often as you like, but you may only request FREE maps by mail once every six months, so be sure to completely customize all 4 maps before you order. You can choose between classic or character designs as shown above with a different character for each park.

You can go HERE to find participating restaurants by first entering the zip code, state, or city. You can further refine your search by a number of search criteria such as cuisine, price, restaurant name, etc… Once you locate a restaurant you can see the specific offer available for that restaurant.

These requirements will vary depending on the restaurant so be sure to pay attention to what they are. They are clearly described under the “add to cart” button in each offer. For example, the certificates do not usually apply to alcohol, take-out, or other specials at that restaurant such as happy hour. Additionally, there may be a minimum purchase requirement. For example you may need to spend at least $35 to use that $25 certificate but it is still a huge savings on dining!

After you pay for your certificate via credit card or paypal, you will receive it in your email to print out. Happy Dining – you are eating more for less!!
