Starting tomorrow, Wed., Dec. 9th, there will be a price match for Target shoppers who have a Winn Dixie nearby. Winn Dixie has Tide advertised for $10.99 which is included in the $5 Gift Card on Select P&G items. The size on both the liquid and the powder is a match and with a WD ad you can get you an extra $1 off your Tide since Target has it priced at $11.99. Remember when Price Matching, you must bring the retailer’s entire ad to the store.
I have received some questions & comments about overage at Target. While I know that as individual shoppers in different stores we all may experience different things, all the deals I post will come to a balance of “Free” when there is a coupon that is for more than the amount of the product. I would like to try and keep the confusion to a minimum and since Target’s published coupon policy does not allow overage- I feel that this is what most shoppers will experience.
I also had an e-mail from someone who was refused a coupon adjustment and this should never happen. Target’s policy states that the coupon will be adjusted down. If you ever run into trouble with this- ask them to check the policy on their web site. I believe the CS folks have access to Target.com on their computers so they can look it up right there. Or you may also want to consider printing out Target’s coupon policy and bringing it to the store with you.
Jennifer e-mailed me and reported finding a Blinkie Machine in her Publix that had $3/2 Starbucks Blinkies. Hopefully other grocery stores will have it too. This will be nice to go along with the Starbucks Gift Card Deal ($5 GC wyb 3 Starbucks at $7 each).
Thanks for the heads up Jennifer :).
There is a new printable at Target.com for $1/2 Welch’s Sparkling Juice. As promised- I want to try and save you guys some ink and let you know this is NOT a Target store Q. I will add it to the MASTER LIST shortly.
If you have not gotten yours yet- the Free P&G Home Made Simple Coupon Booklet- “Refresh Your Nest” is still available to request HERE. It contains over $35 in savings on P&G brands including Dawn, Cascade, Febreze, Mr. Clean & Swiffer. The Qs in the booklet are good until 3/31/10 and P&G is pretty good about mailing fairly quickly- so definitely worth requesting one if you haven’t already!
While there are some pretty nice scenarios for a great deal on the Glade this week- many people are limited on what coupons they have. You only need 2 insert coupons for the following scenario, and a Publix in your area.
Starting on Thursday, Dec. 10th, there will be a Glade price match for Target shoppers who have a Publix nearby. Publix has the Glade 4 oz Candles advertised for 2/$4 and the gift card deal is this:
$5 Gift Card wyb 5 Selected Glade Products $2.50 each
The 4oz candle is one of the items specified.
Buy 5 candles = $12.50
-$2.50 (Publix Price Match)
-$3.00 (use 2 $1.50/2 Glade 4 oz jar candles from 12-6-09 SS)
= $7 and get back a $5 Gift Card
Now sweeten the deal by taking advantage of a $5 MIR wyb 3 SC Johnson Products. You can print the form HERE. Now this deal becomes a $3.00 Money Maker!
SC Johnson is very generous with their free offers. You still have 2 more weeks to respond to their newest offer- a Free SC Johnson Holiday at Home Gift Basket. You can visit Right at Home to put in your request. The first 2,000 to respond each week until December 21 will receive a gift basket full of SC Johnson products- including a Glade Scented Oil Candle tin. The new week starts tomorrow, December 8th, so try and get your request in early. If you have received a gift pack from them in the last 180 days you will not be eligible for this offer.
I would just like to take a moment to extend my sincere appreciation for the response I got today! I am truly touched at all the wonderful e-mails you sent and comments you left on my blog. I am also thankful for all the suggestions and ideas and contributions! Please know that it meant a lot to me and made all the hard work worth it. And last but certainly not least- to Michelle from I Heart Publix & I Heart Saving Money – thank you so much for all your help, encouragement and support- I could not have done it without you.
I am trying to add as many items to the Cheap Finds Page as possible. I know I can’t get there overnight 😉 but here are a few more I see after looking at a few coupons sources that I can add to the list:
Green Giant Valley Steamers $1.52
-$1/2 from 11-22-09 SS (exp 1/16/10)
-.50/1 Valley Fresh Steamers PRINT
Either Q makes them $1.02 a bag
Ronzoni Smart Taste Pasta $1.19
-$1/2 Smart Taste (at Ronzoni’s Site) PRINT.
Buy 2, use the $1/2 and pay 69¢ a box
Contadina Tomato Sauce 8 0z $.42
-$1/4 Contadina PRINT
Q makes them 17 cents a can
and thanks to Ashley – who found a great deal on Motts:
Mott’s Apple Juice 64 oz. $1.89
-$1/1 Target Q PRINT
Qmakes it 89 cents a bottle!.
When I popped into Target today, I noticed the Kikkoman Soy Sauce was priced at $1.42 for a 10 oz Bottle. There is a $1/2 from 11-15-09 SS or a printable on smartsource HERE. Buy 2, use the $1/2 and pay 92 cents a bottle.
I also priced the Kikkoman Teryaki and it was $1.64- making it $1.14 a bottle wyb 2 and use the Q. (Both Qs are good on the Teryaki Sauce as well)
Recently, there was also a B1G1 IP available (no longer there) that I printed 2 of & have not used yet. If you are in the same boat- my plan is this:
Buy 4 Kikkoman Soy Sauce = $5.68
– $2.84 (Use 2 B1G1)
– $1.00 (Use $1/2 from 11-15-09 SS or PRINT )
= $1.84 for 4 bottles or 46 cents a bottle
