For those of you who enjoy having Target do your shopping for you by using their drive up or order pickup services, Target.com now allows you to take advantage of cartwheel discounts online. You can only take advantage of cartwheel savings if you are choosing one of these two options, and it cannot be applied to items you are having shipped.
To take advantage of cartwheel savings online – simply add any cartwheel offers in the Target App you are interested in first. If you plan to shop from another computer or device – be sure and sign in to your Target.com account online and add the items to your cart. As soon as you choose FREE Store Pickup at checkout – the cartwheel discount(s) will automatically apply.
So for example, right now you can save 30% on Prego & Farmers Market Pasta Sauces with cartwheel thru 10/31. If you wanted to place your order online with FREE Store Pickup, you would add the carthwheel offer in the app first. Then go to Target.com, sign-in and add the Prego Pasta Sauce to your cart online at Target.com and head to checkout.
Once you choose FREE store Pickup, you will automatically see the cartwheel discount applied. Keep in mind that just like in stores, each cartwheel offer will only be applied up to 4 times.
You can also take advantage of cartwheel on items that are part of gift card deals. However, unlike in stores, the cartwheel deduction online will be taken AFTER the value of the gift card has been deducted.
So for example, thru 10/20, you can get a FREE $10 Target Gift Card wyb 3 Select Household items online and the 8 Pack Giant Rolls of Up & Up Paper Towels are included for $8.49. There is a 5% cartwheel offer you can add, and then choose free store pickup, but the cartwheel deduction online will be .78 cents which is 5% off $15.47. (Up & Up Towels at $8.49 x3 = $25.47, less $10 value of Gift Card = $15.47).
