Anyway, there is a great rebate for Star Wars toys that goes nicely with the clearance deals on some of the Star Wars toys people have been finding at Target. But you are a little tight on time, since purchases dates are between 5/28 – 7/31.

I have posted about this before, but I finally remembered to pick this up, and it worked out to be a sweet deal for me, so wanted to post again in case y’all missed it the first time. Anyway, my store sells the 10 oz bottle of Kikkoman Teriyaki Sauce for $1.42. (Regular prices may vary by region). And there are $1/1 Qs available to use. The Embark lunch boxes at Target might have a nice surprise inside. Kristin let me know that inside some is an offer for a six month Parents Magazine subscription and a coupon booklet. If you decide you don’t want the magazine subscription all you have to do is write “Refused” on the ad and return it along with your receipt and you will get a $4.96 check! Priced between $3.99 and $12.99, (and she even spotted one for $3.79 on sale this week) these lunchboxes can actually be a small moneymaker if you choose not to receive the magazine.
They come in assorted designs and you should look for the hang tag on the side of the bag alerting you to the enclosed offers. You can always doublecheck and take a look inside to make sure the one you find has the booklets and magazine offer card enclosed. There are a couple variations on the coupon booklets, but some nice ones like $1/1 Capri Sun, $1/1 Minute Rice, $1/1 Purell, $5/1 Leapster Game and more.

**Lynn brought up a good point in the comments about how Target receipts will show the price paid when using a Target coupon in the above scenarios. I do know what she is speaking of, however the receipt will still show (my register receipts anyway, not sure if the new POS receipts are different) the original price the product was before coupons. So here’s an example of how a product will show up (using example from when I purchased a Schick Razor:)
So it lists the Schick Hydro Razor as $2.99, and then the manufacturer’s coupon, but there is still the line there that shows Coupon off $6.99. Which to me – $6.99 would be the price I circle on my receipt. I agree, that it is disconcerting to have it show up on the receipt that way, but I should think since the rebate total is to be calculated before coupons, the receipt still reflects that original price as $6.99 and just shows a coupon used. But I do want to talk to a supervisor at the rebate center just to hash it over with them. I will let you know what they have to say.
UPDATE: So I got one of 2 questions answered today. There are NO size exclusions on this rebate. So that means, if you need a filler just to put you over the top, a bar of soap or 2 would be perfect. I had zero luck at the rebate center, so instead I called Olay directly. The rep I had was wonderful, she put me on hold, called P&G Corporate to confirm, and the answer is that trial sizes are included and willcount toward the $30 purchase.
Stay tuned for part 2 of my update, in regards to the receipts & how they show Target Coupons, but that answer probably won’t come until Monday. While she agreed with me that you would just circle the actual retail price, even though it is not lined up, she wanted to do some further research to make absolutely sure.

I spent a little time on the phone with P&G, asking a couple questions I thought everyone might have. The rebate purchase begin date actually started on June 25th. Some of you may have done the Aligh deal that expired last week, but you could still use your receipt toward this rebate- since multiple receipts are allowed.
