We LOVE teachers and so does Target! Through this Saturday, May 9th, Target is offering a nice teacher discount of an EXTRA 10% off in honor of Teacher Appreciation Week.

This teacher discount is in the form of a Target Circle offer and is valid on one qualifying store wide purchase. To get your discount, you will need to fill out a verification form.

To qualify, you must be a teacher, staff member or faculty member employed by K-12 schools, colleges, or universities here in the U.S.A. OR, a teacher at a daycare center, early childhood learning center or a home school teacher. Note that homeschool teachers might need to provide extra documentation.

School staff and administrators as well as college faculty are also eligible for this Circle Offer!

Once you’ve completed the form and are ready to shop, you will need to save this exclusive teacher Target Circle offer, just keep in mind it has a one-time use. 

It encompasses lots of products including pens, pencils, crayons and additional classroom supplies & organization and more! Be sure and check the details when you get your Circle to be aware of any exclusions. Typically there are quite a few.

Keep in mind this discount is on top of existing sale prices, so be sure and check for sales.

The teacher Target Circle offer has a one-time use though, so you will want to make sure you plan your shopping trip ahead of time. You can also check the current Target ad scan to check out advertised deals.

Target will be hosting some store events in 2026! The first few ones have already occurred, and fair warning – many readers have commented that events advertised as being at all Target locations have not come to pass.

I strongly recommend if you see an event you are interested in attending that you call your store to verify.

Saturday May 30th – June 27th, select stores will be hosting this event where you can score a free treat from the pop-up ice cream truck from noon – 4 pm. More stores will be added – but for now these are the ones that are advertised as participating..

Saturdays and Sundays from June 6 through July 18 select stores will be hosting a Summer Goals Tour. From 10am to 5pm you can step into an interactive soccer experience with games, giveaways and FREE samples from Chobani, LEGO, Dove and Liquid I.V.

Saturday, June 13th, from noon to 4pm you can discover NYX professional makeup fat oil body collection at select stores.

In addition, select stores will let you try up&up scented suncare in coconut, banana or strawberry.

On June 14th from noon to 4pm, select stores will be hosting an event where you can explore new LEGO Disney sets and there will be a giveaway of LEGO Disney inspired sunglasses and activity booklets. Those of you near the Edina, Minnesota location on 7000 York Ave S will also be able to help build a LEGO mural in store and there will be a photo opp.

Also on June 14th, select stores will be hosting a build-a-bear workshop.

I would recommend calling your store in advance as sometimes events advertised at being at all stores do not occur.
