I  hope everyone is having a fun and safe holiday! Here’s also wishing a very Happy Birthday to my Mom – born on the 4th of July. 🙂 She turned 80 this year and is visiting me here in Florida and it is nice to be able to celebrate it with her. So I am off to spoil her more on her special day – I hope you all have a great holiday too!

Here’s wishing that all the Moms out there get treated extra nice today! I am so thankful to be the Mom of a happy, healthy 13-year-old young man who is now taller than me! Time sure does fly and I just can’t believe it.

I am also awaiting the arrival of my own Mother who will be spending a couple months at my house after knee replacement surgery. She’s hanging tough and I look forward to helping her continue her physical therapy and to be here for emotional support or whatever she needs. She’s listened to me vent and cry enough over the years, now it’s my turn. 🙂
