As many of you may have heard, Target.com is now offering FREE Ship-to-store for thousands of items and Store Pickup is now at most locations with plans to complete the rollout to all U.S. stores by November 1st. Target.com has made more than 35,000 items online available for store pickup but there are exclusions.
Certain items – such as groceries, limited-time offerings like designer collaborations and merchandise sold only on Target.com will not initially be eligible.
Note that Target.com has blacked out Thanksgiving Week, meaning you won’t be able to use this service from Sunday, November 24th thru Saturday, November 30th.
This service is still new and Target will be working out the kinks as customers use it more and more. Feedback is strongly encouraged so if you use it and have a suggestion, fill out a comment card or you can send feedback online by filling out a form HERE.
Here’s how Store Pick-Up Works…
- Head over to Target.com for your usual shopping. When you’re checking on an item, look for the “Eligible for Store Pickup” to be listed underneath.
- Then when you place your order, you will be asked whether you want to Ship to Home or do Store Pickup Free and which store you wish to pickup from.
- Target will let you know when your order is ready for pickup via email or text message, whichever you prefer. You can pickup your order at Guest Services. Just be prepared to show a Photo ID.
