If your child has outgrown their car seat or you’re just looking to upgrade, you may want to take part in the Target Car Seat Trade-in Event from 4/19 – 5/2!

Starting Sunday the 19th and going thru Saturday, May 2nd, you can bring your used car seat to Target stores nationwide and trade it in. In return, you will get a coupon for 20% off any car seat, booster seat, base, travel system, stroller or select baby gear items in stores or at Target.com, valid thru May 16th.

Target teams up with recycling partners to make sure all the car seats they collect get upcycled into new products. You can read more about the trade-in program HERE.

Drop off boxes will be located at Target stores near Guest Services. Once you have dropped off your old one, you will need to scan the code found on signs next to the drop off boxes into your Target app to get your 20% off coupon on Circle.

Plus, Target has select car seats that will be on sale starting Sunday that can get you an even bigger discount. There are so several styles to choose from, just keep in mind when shopping online some sales may not show up until you get to checkout.

If you are in the market for a stroller, select ones will also be on sale too! You can also check out next week’s Target ad scan to see featured baby gear on sale that your trade-in coupon will be valid on to save even more.

So be sure and take part of the Target Car Seat Trade-in event if you need a new car seat or stroller.

Through August 10th, Target is hosting a Denim Take Back Event! This means you will get rewarded for recycling your old denim!

Right now and going thru Saturday, August 10th, you can up to five used denim items to Target stores nationwide and drop them off in the designated box near the front of the store (Guest Services area).

Items you can recycle include denim of any type: pants, shirts, jean jackets, hats and more, and they can be in any condition!

All stores are participating with the exception of a few select small stores, but you can always contact your local store to make sure they are participating.

Then, open your Target app and scan the code on the box. You can always ask a Target team member for assistance too! You should see then see a Circle offer in your wallet in the Target app for 20% off a future denim purchase.

This offer is only redeemable once, however, it can be used both in stores and online, PLUS it can be combined  with other item offers!

The 20% Circle offer will not be valid on a few items – Accessories, items sold and shipped by Target Plus and clearance. 

Target will be teaming up with partners to make sure donated denim items will be recycled to create new products. 

The Target denim event is such an easy way to clear out unwanted denim from your closet and get a discount to replace with new items – including Levi’s jeans!

If you want to shop online, Target carries a huge selection of denim for the entire family. PLUS, we have a Circle offer for $10 off a $40 or more select kids’ apparel purchase. Select denim items are included, and while I haven’t tested it – you should be able to stack your 20% off bonus offer with the $10/$40 Circle offer to make for even bigger savings. 

This event is along the same lines as the Car Seat Trade-in Event that Target hosts several times per year, which is another way to get rewarded for recycling.
