Here’s a great idea for a quick dessert that will please adults and kids too! Cherry vanilla whoopie pies are super easy to make and only require a few ingredients.

It all starts with a batter made from a boxed cake mix & 7 up and baked in a whoopie pan (or cupcake pan). After baking, a fluffy filling of marshmallow creme and a few other ingredients gets spread between split layers of cake along with cherry preserves.
