Just a heads up that some of you should find after-Christmas clearance up to 90% Off at Target today, Wednesday, January 1st. I am hoping lots of you will drop today, but if it doesn’t today, there is a good chance it will drop tomorrow – so keep a close eye on it.

Be sure and scan though even if your signs say 70% because you never know! They may just not have their signs out yet.

I love stocking up for next year at 90% off on things I can use next year, or even some items like gift bags that can be used for other occasions throughout the year. My store had tons of wrapping paper and I always stock up for the following year.

What can be found can vary quite a bit from store to store, and I love hunting when clearance goes to 90. My store had these sturdy, large 10×10 storage boxes that were just .65 each. These pretty boxes are perfect to store Christmas items and I plan to use them to separate my goodies in larger bins.

My store had all the holiday apparel moved back to the clearance section as well, including some really cute holiday baby items. There were some onesies, bibs and even Santa outfits that came with hats.

My local stores had moved all the Bullseye’s Playground items to the back of the store and they were at 90% too. There was quite a bit left and items will be as low as just .10 cents each if you are at 90 too.

Keep in mind some of the items I mentioned above might not have gotten moved back to the holiday clearance at all stores. So it can’t hurt to take a good look thru the regular aisles as well. You can also check up at the scanner if you find a goodie and want to make sure you know the price before heading to checkout.

Even if your store hasn’t gone to 90, be sure and check for food and candy which may be at 70% off for some of you too. My store had just tons of holiday candy at 70%. This will likely be the biggest drop we will see on food and candy, so if you see any you want, you might want to grab it before it moves off the floor.

I hope those of you out there who’ve been stalking the Target Christmas clearance find lots of goodies too!  Keep in mind once your store hits 90%, the clock will be ticking to make room for Valentine’s Day items, so don’t wait too long to go!

Only one of my local Tampa stores were at 90% today, and pickings were somewhat slim. However, my store had tons of gift tags, bows, gift bags and more.

I actually asked my huby to go this morning and he called and told me there wasn’t much stuff left and then sent me all these pictures. So I don’t know what he’s talking about because I would LOVE to be there right now because it certainly looks like a lot of stuff to me!!

He had a TON of bows all 90% Off – just baskets and baskets full of them at .50 cents each. Christmas clearance is a great way to stock up on things you’ll need for next year, and by taking advantage of clearance I really don’t think I’ve bought bows, wrapping paper or any of the basics at full price in years. 🙂

Lots of wrapping paper left too at 90% Off with a large selection too! Does anyone else remember the year that there was like 700 million rolls of Justin Bieber wrapping paper left and nothing else? lol

Also lots & lots of ornament sets all at 90% Off. This is great to get them at this price and they make for inexpensive DYI projects like wreaths and trees around Styrofoam bases.

Kelley headed out to her local Maryland stores this morning- and found 90% Off non-food at her Dobbin store. There wasn’t much left for her- but she did stock up on a few things at 90. For example she had just a ton of bows at 90% off.

Christmas clearance is a great way to stock up on things you’ll need for next year, and while she wished she had more she was happy to also find these bags of bows down to just .50.

Be sure and check out the household section as well for items that may be hanging around – for example Glade holiday scents will now will be 90% off and we have coupons to pick them up as low as FREE….

Also be sure and watch for the holiday M&M’s which will now be down from $3.19 to .95 if your store is at 70. We have a $1.50 When you buy any two (2) M&M’S Brand Chocolate Candies (8 oz. or larger) making them .20 each after clearance & coupon.

Watch for other limited edition food items that will be up to 70% off for some of you. For example winter Oreos will be just .89 down from $2.99. There is a .75/2 Nabisco Cookie or Cracker Product 3.5 oz+ 12-11-16 SS plus we have a new 10% Off Nabisco Oreo Cookies 10 to 15.4 oz (Limit 3) Target-Cartwheel offer that does not exclude clearance to save even more.

Even if your store has nothing in the holiday section at all – be sure to take a good look around the store for those hidden finds in the regular aisles. Not everything gets brought to the clearance section, and A LOT of holiday clearance does NOT get stickered – so some good old fashioned hunting around in the regular aisles can yield some possible surprises.

For example, Kelley found these boxers & gift bag sets for Christmas & Valentine’s Day in the Men’s Department. While many of them were obviously Christmas themed, some were not – so be sure and scan as some were scanning at 90% off for her.

This flavor seems to be the only one at 90, but let me know if you find others. While it may have been part of the stocking stuffer section at one time, take a look in the regular aisles or at the registers in case you find them too.
