When browsing the weekly ad, don’t forget that there are LOTS of additional ways to save more money. Sometimes it can be confusing, but that’s the whole reason for my blog! I try and make it as easy as possible to navigate all these discounts for Target shoppers.
Target Weekly Ad FAQs
What days does the Target Weekly Ad run?
The Target Weekly ad runs Sunday thru Saturday each week. There are exceptions over the holidays, including Black Friday weekend. (Target usually has one ad valid all week and a separate Black Friday ad valid starting very late Thanksgiving Day or very early Black Friday morning and running thru Saturday).
Are the Gift Card and special deals featured in the weekly ad only valid one week?
Most are one week long, however, some are long-term. Check out our Special Deals page for some of the more popular offers both advertised and unadvertised.
Are there additional gift card deals other than what's shown in the ad?
YES! Some Target sales and offers aren't advertised and these additional deals will usually appear in stores or online on Sundays. Check out our Special Deals page for some of the more popular ones that might not have been in the Target weekly ad flyer.
Is the Target ad the same for everyone?
NO. Target ads are regional and while MOST Target deals and sales are available for everyone, they can and will vary by location.
Are the deals in the weekly ad available both in stores and online?
No. Most deals found in the weekly ad will be available online and in stores. Some deals will only be available on line when you choose a same day service (pickup or delivery). Sales online and in stores can vary too.
If the Target Ad features a sale on an item, for example 2/$6, does that mean I must buy two to get that price?
Target has different types of sales. If something is just marked 2/$6, for example, you do NOT need to buy two, you will get the $3 price if you buy just one. If the sale is a Buy More Save More Sale (we typically see this on Soda sales) then you will need to buy the quantity stated in order to get the sale price. Target will usually make it clear if you need to buy in certain quantities.
Target Circle Offers are a great way to save in combination with the Target Circular Ad. Each week Target releases hundreds of new Circle offers that can make for even bigger discounts. Target Circle offers can be as high as 50% Off on a wide range of products to make for great deals. And, you can use many of them both in Target stores and online as well.
These offers can be accessed thru the Target app on mobile devices including cell phones or online. The Target sales flyer often mentions upcoming Target Circle offers too. We typically see Target Circle offers for beauty products and personal care products each week. We also see offers in the electronics department for video games as well as other areas of Target stores. Keep in mind that some are exclusive offers that not everyone will get.
Target Coupons are easy ways to save even more, and the Target Sales Flyer typically contains one or more coupons in it each week. They usually are valid on all kinds of things including baby gear, pet care, groceries, home decor, beauty products and more. Typically Target Coupons are mentioned in the weekly Target flyer and actually appear as a Target Circle offer.
Target coupons are so nice because of two reasons. First off, you can stack Target coupons with Manufacturer coupons. You can find these coupons in your Sunday local newspapers. Plus sometimes there are printable manufacturer coupons available which can lead to big savings.
You can stack Target coupons with Target Circle offers and manufacturer’s coupons. So between Target coupons, manufacturer coupons and Target Circle offers, you have the potential for up to a triple stack making for the best deals and huge savings at Target!
Also to mention, be sure to sort the blog by the weekly ad category. There is also a link above to do this. The weekly Target flyer includes many current sales, but, there are also some that are unadvertised. These sales can only be found in stores starting on each Sunday. Sort the blog by the Weekly Ad Category to bring up all the posts that include great deals and sales for Target shoppers.
You can also grab some fantastic deals with rebate offers. My favorites include the ibotta app and Fetch rewards, just note that many of them are limited time offers. Combining rebate offers with coupons and Target sales or special offers is a great way to net big savings and get a great price on grocery items as well as personal care products and more.
Viewing the upcoming Target sales in the latest weekly ad preview will give you a head start on your shopping trip so you can take advantage of special offers. You can also compare the current Target Ad with the one for the next week to ensure you get the Best deals.
Target has everyday low prices on LOTS of items including popular brands as well as Target exclusive brands. To find store hours and to locate Target stores in your vicinity, just enter your zip code online at Target.com. Target hours can vary and are usually adjusted for Black Friday shopping thru Cyber Monday.
If you haven’t gotten a Target REDcard – there are many advantages and perks to getting one. In addition to a 5% everyday discount, you will get FREE shipping on most online orders plus exclusive offers for Target Red card holders.
We often also see some amazing offers for new Target RedCard holders in the form of a coupon. Throughout the year, the Target store flyer will typically advertise a Target coupon in varied amounts when you sign up for a new Target RedCard. The coupon is usually, for example, for $50 off a future $50 Target purchase.
So if you don’t have a Target Red card and are thinking about getting one, you might want to wait for one of these great deals to sign up. Just watch for an advertisement in the Sneak peek of the Target ad each week. There are typically one page advertisements for signing up, and usually found on the last few pages of the Target Ad preview.

My Target had coupons on the Tide Sport and Febreeze Sport fo an extra 2 dollars off the Tide,Unstoppables,Bounce Dryer and Febreeze it is a Target Q.

On the totally target website, there is a coupon for 20% Circo, but when I click on it, there isn’t a coupon. It takes me to the page where the coupons are to print, but no CIrco coupon.

I know during July Target will have a major clearance on a lot of their toys. Right now they are between 30%-50% off. Does anyone know when they will be going to 75% off? I know it’s normally a couple of days towards the end of July…just wondering if anyone new exactly when it would be. Thanks! 🙂
Also check with your local supermarkets. For example, in my area, every Tuesday at 7 am Winn-Dixie sells all Sunday left over newspapers for 0.75. Including coupons.
Just sent my hubby on a Target Shopping Run with coupons. Got the following:

Hey susan- not this coming week- it was in last week’s ad (the one that ends today)- and they are never in consecutive ads. BUT if your store has any ads left- this Q does not expire right away- it is valid through 6/27. you can maybe ask a neighbor or a friend too if they still have their ad if your store is out.

I have an easy question: How can we see the target ad in ADVANCE for the upcoming week? I wanted to know to see if a sale item I have to price match will be better at Target starting Sunday or I should go out before the next weeks sale?
Carrie, now with the Target Debit or Credit card with 5% back, you can save even more! I just applied for a Debit card (I have NO credit cards..don’t want new debt!). Good luck and have fun saving! Hey Valerie! If you are referring to when you see Kerry list a Target Q with a list of manufacturer’s Q’s, that is just so you can pick and choose. Sometimes the best coupon might be in an insert and not everyone received that coupon. You are right – one TQ & one MQ is the norm. : )
Im so grateful for all your help and time in this site. Im new to the “couponing” and dont understand how you can stack so many manufacturer coupons with the store coupon. I have been told I am only allowed one manufacturer coupon and one store coupon…any help?

What a great shopping trip I had today. I FINALLY got two of the Scrubbing Bubbles starter kits, for about 70 cents. Quaker Granola bars were a decent find, they were 2/$5 on sale and I have a handful of $1 of every 2, so I snagged a few. Cheezits for $1.41 a twin pack of Dove Deo for $3.49 (large sized double pack) I used a $3 off when you buy 2 and also the Target store coupon for $1 off any Dove. Thinking thinking thinking……oh yea 100 Calorie Nabisco cookies for were 2/$5 and I had more coupons bringing them down to 1.50 a box. I passed on a few things that I could have bought, because I was focusing on food.
Man my kids have been out of school for a month, and the snack budget is going nuts here.

I want to do the Windex outdoor window cleaning starter kit deal that you highlighted, my problem is that I can only find the TQ (for a $5 GC wyb, like the one that came out this week) in the 4/11 SS – was the MFQ regional? when you buy 4 breyer Yo Crunch Yogurts with the 50 cent off coupon, you will get a Catalina coupon for 1.25 off 8 of them. They are on sale for 50 cents / ea. this week. They are really good, esp. Cookies and Cream.
If you use the Catalina to buy 8, another Catalina will print off for 1.25 off 12.

RedPlum has a $10 coupon when you buy the two together (or some other crazy combination), if I understood it correctly – making the two movies only $16.99.
And then, target is offering a $5 gift card when you buy the two together.

Jen – There is a site, something like couponsandthingsbydede.com where you can buy entire coupon inserts for like .80 or something like that. Not sure thats where they are getting them, but I have a few friends that don’t get the newspaper and they order them from this site.
I know where I can get 40 inserts a pop. Dumpster diving in the recyling bins.

I went to Target tonight and they had the 20 pk.Finish gel pacs on sale for $3.23 less the $2.50 coupon it was only $0.73/pk. and I got even more in the pack than I planned 🙂 Needless to say I was very happy when I left Target with 14 packs tonight!!
Hey Katie – it is a good deal but if you can get to Wags its a better one as they are the same price and giving $1 RR so they work out to be free.
Is the Finish dishwasher tablets a great deal with the $2.50 coupon? Each pack would be only $0.99, but there are only 15 tablets in a box. The coupon expires on the 31st so I don’t want to miss out on using it if this is the best deal to get them!
