Target Car Seat Trade-in event

If your child has outgrown their car seat or you’re just looking to upgrade, you may want to take part in the Target Car Seat Trade-in Event happening now!

Right now and going thru Saturday, April 27th, you can bring your used car seat to Target stores nationwide and trade it in by first dropping it off in the designated box near the front of the store (Guest Services area).

Then, open your Target app and scan the code on the box. You can always ask a Target team member for assistance too! You should see then see an offer for 20% off any new car seat, booster seat, car seat base, travel system, stroller and select additional baby gear valid thru May 11th.

Add the offer and then proceed to purchase your new qualifying item in store, or place an order online. If you shop in store, just have your bar code scanned at checkout. Your offer can be used up to two times!

Target will be teaming up with partners to make sure all the car seats they collect get upcycled into new products. You can read more about the trade-in program by checking out the FAQ found HERE.

Plus, Target will have select car seats on sale that can get you an even bigger discount. There are so several styles to choose from, just keep in mind when shopping online some sales may not show up until you get to checkout.

Copycat Whatchamacallit Candy Bar Recipe!

Have you ever had a Whatchamacallit candy bar? If you have, then you know how good they are! If not, basically it’s chocolate and caramel over peanut butter crisps. 

It’s a delicious combination, and you can make a copycat version at home that is even better! This version uses Peanut Butter Captain Crunch cereal as one of the main ingredients, with a marshmallow coating to give the candy bar crunch and texture.

You won’t need a lot of ingredients, and you do need to make the layers separately. However, the end result is well worth the few steps involved in making this Whatchamacallit candy bar copycat recipe.

These bars not only make for great desserts, but a nice pick me up in the late afternoon. Plus, it’s a fairly economically way of enjoying these tasty candy bars at home!

You could also gift these to a neighbor, take to a potluck, or just have a tray on hand for family game night. They are such a versatile sweet treat to make too! Just make sure to have some milk on hand :).
