Target Halloween Clearance 2022 has begun! 🙂 The next few days we will have up to 50% Off on all sorts of indoor and outdoor décor, pumpkin carving kits, costumes, accessories and more.

Remember, most Halloween items will NOT be stickered, so you will need to become best friends with that scanner if you are not sure about whether or not something is marked down. 🙂

I arrived right at store opening this morning expecting to not see much, and while there was not a ton, there was a lot more than I expected! Candy was at 30%, and non-perishables were at 50% for me. 

Quite a bit of Halloween decor – perfect for grabbing at a discount now and using next year!

Quite a few Mondo craft items, and so many were just pumpkins – perfect for Fall decor!

It’s a great way to grab a costume for next year, or an inexpensive way to have a dress-up box or trunk for pretend-play fun all year round. 🙂

Costume accessories including face paint, crowns, wigs, and more were also marked 50% off.

 

I was really surprised by how many costumes were still there – including ones for kids and adults!

Quite a bit of candy too at 30% off.

And while some was clearly wrapped with Halloween images, watch for bags containing candy in regular wrappers that can be used for stocking stuffers!

There were also baking kits and Fall snacks at 30% off.


Including Fall flavored baking mixes and frostings.

Some items too could easily be modified for the upcoming holidays by simply swapping out icing colors – like these Hyde & EEK Spooky houses and cookies!

These Dash waffle makers had shelf tags saying $12.99, there was a clearance sign for 30% off, but were actually ringing up 50% off at the register.

And this Muffin Tin which is usable all year round was ringing up 50% off as well, even though the clearance sign said 30%! So be sure and scan what peaks your interest!

Also, be sure and check out other areas of the store too like pet, toys, and home & apparel for possible items that have not been or won’t be moved back to the clearance section. 

As far as the next Target Halloween Clearance 2022 drop will be – November 3rd or 4th is when we will likely see most stores drop to 70% off and 2 or 3 days later down to 90%. Not all stores follow the exact same schedule though- and it’s something to watch closely. HAPPY HUNTING EVERYONE!

Target Easter Clearance Now Up to 50% Off

For those of you headed out to Target today- you should find much of whatever Easter inventory your store has left up to 50% Off. Easter Target clearance is also a great time to pick up non-perishables for next year- like Plastic Eggs, Easter Baskets, decorations, dye kits, paper plates and other festive disposable party items.

My store had very little left, but there were a few non-perishables marked down 50%. Some of the signs said 30, but they were ringing up at 50%. 

Super-cute throw pillows 50% off, regularly $10 – $15, so just $5 – $7.50 each. A few dishcloths which could be used year round, and bunny ceramics also 50% off, which would be great for next year.

Fun wreaths, signs and other home decor all 50% off. These would be great to buy now and hold for next Spring!

Candy & food items were 30% Off to start, and usually they drop to 50% when non-perishables go to 70.

My store was pretty bare not too long after opening! I did find a few candy items at 30%, including a couple of bags of Hershey’s kisses.

And, a couple dozen bags of Brach’s jelly beans at 30% off down to $2.09, regularly $2.99.

Only a few lonely chocolate bunnies, also at 30% off.

Reese’s mallow-top Marshmallow flavored creme topped peanut butter cups also 30% off down to $2.51.

It seemed the item my store had the most of were these Peeps Hot Tamales!

Ghirardelli bunnies also 30% off down to $3 a bag.

Keep in mind signs can also be misleading as in the picture above. While the jelly beans were 30% off, the non-perishables on the shelf were at 50. So be sure and scan if you aren’t sure!

Also be sure and take a look around the regular aisles too for items that may not have gotten moved back to the Easter clearance section, like baby apparel with bunnies and chicks on them and arts & crafts items. While I did not find any perusing my store, I sometimes find these items a day or two later at my store!

Target Holiday Clearance – 70% off Candy, Perishables AND Decor

I know Target holiday clearance has been sparse for most of us this year, and I was lucky to at least have a bit on my store on the 26th, I popped back into my store today expecting to find absolutely nothing, and was surprised to find 2 end caps of perishables and a very small section of wrapping paper and decor left.

While wrapping paper and decor were still at 70, I did spot a few advent calendars and still quite a few individual ornaments. Other than a few other odds and ends plus a few pet costumes, that was pretty much it – and they were all at 70 still.

My two end caps of candy and perishables were marked 50 but rang up at 70% off, so be sure to scan at your store. These end caps were not with the rest of the holiday clearance but were actually in the automotive section!

I do have a weakness for the different popcorn crunch varieties, so I did grab a few of those marked down to $1.91, regularly $6.39.

There were also some boxes of chocolate covered cherries hidden behind the mish-mash of other perishables and they were only .65, marked down from $2.19. If you find them too, they would make for nice Valentine’s Day gifts too!


And a few hot cocoa sets, Lindt Truffles, and Ghirardelli gift sets at 70% off too.

Be sure and check other parts of the store as well. I spotted these Threshold cookie cutter sets for $1.20 down from $4. The one on the left was kitties and fishes, so definitely could be used for a kids birthday party or Halloween!

I really am skeptical we will see a bigger drop, and while I know many of you are disappointed too at the lack of great finds this year, be sure and keep an eye out online for Target holiday clearance too!

If you are looking to take advantage of after Christmas Clearance – there are deals to be had both in stores and online. This year Target has a lot of items on clearance with up to 70% Off thousands of items. There’s so much to choose from, including TONS of holiday decor items like wreaths, ornaments, trees and more. 

I headed out to my local store this morning, so here’s a few things to watch for at your stores. Just note that clearance online may vary in pricing and availability from what you will find in stores. 

Back in the Wondershop almost all decor was marked down 70%, including lots of string lights.

And, wreaths, garlands, and holiday home decor also at 70% off – however, my store had very limited inventory left.

If you want to plan ahead for next year, there was so much wrapping paper on clearance for 70% off. 

I was surprised to see quite a few table cloths, napkins, and plain red disposable plates also at 70% off.

Keep in mind not everything will be stickered. like the Wondershop plates. I went ahead and bought some to put aside for Valentine’s Day, as they were just .90, regularly $3.

There were a few holiday decor throw pillows on clearance also up to 70% off.

Food and perishables were only 30% off at my store, and there wasn’t a whole lot left. I did see some M&Ms, Dove, and more candy on clearance.

Also Andes mints, boxed candy, Ghirardelli chocolates also at 30%.

Lots of decor in Bullseye’s Playground marked 50% off including greenery and miniature trees.

Also in Bullseye’s Playground – miniature gift boxes, fun kitchen towel/pot holder sets and more also 50% off.

And, in Healthy and Beauty there were several displays of beauty gift sets marked 70% off. I didn’t see any sets on after Christmas clearance that matched up to any Circle offers, but gift sets are great to buy and have on hand for birthdays too.

Wishing Everyone a Merry Christmas & Get Ready for Clearance

Here’s wishing you all a very Merry Christmas! It’s been a challenging year, but I wanted to take a moment to say THANK YOU so much to all of YOU for being an important part of TotallyTarget.

I sincerely hope you get a chance to relax and enjoy time with family – even if it is thru social media. If you are doing any last-minute shopping – Target is open today, Friday, December 24th. Store hours will vary, so you will want to call your local Target to see how late they are open. All Target stores will be closed December 25th for the Christmas holiday.

If you are looking to take advantage of the after-Christmas clearance deals- starting on 12/26, we should see all non-perishables, including decor, holiday apparel, holiday pet items and more all go to 50% Off. Food and candy typically drops to 30% Off the day after Christmas. While in past years there has been quite a bit, I am not quite sure what to expect this year, but I will be headed to my local store to scope it out for you.
